Ho Chi Minh City, May 29, 2025 – As part of the Job Fair 2025 hosted by Greenwich Vietnam at its Ho Chi Minh City campus, the university officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BlockchainWork JSC – Vietnam’s leading blockchain talent community platform, which operates with Japanese investment.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in strengthening the connection between academia and industry. It also opens up practical opportunities for students to engage with emerging career trends in the digital age – especially in the fast-growing blockchain and Web 3.0 sectors.
Under the terms of the MoU, the two sides will collaborate on:
- Organizing tailored internship and recruitment programs for students in technology-related majors.
- Hosting workshops, seminars, and skills training sessions led by industry experts.
- Connecting students with an extensive blockchain employer network in Vietnam and internationally.

BlockchainWork is the leading blockchain talent community in Vietnam, pioneering in the development of specialized recruitment and workforce solutions for the blockchain sector. Founded in 2021 by Vietnamese and Japanese entrepreneurs, the platform currently partners with over 250 blockchain companies and serves a community of 20,000+ members across various channels.
With strategic partnerships spanning 9+ educational institutions, BlockchainWork is an active member of both the Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA) and the Japan Blockchain Association (JBA). The company is now expanding its reach into Southeast Asia, aiming to become a regional hub for blockchain talent.
Greenwich Vietnam is an international education program developed in collaboration between FPT University and the University of Greenwich (UK). The institution operates five campuses in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, and Can Tho, offering British-standard undergraduate programs in Information Technology, Business Administration, Digital Design, and more.
The university focuses on equipping students not only with academic knowledge but also with practical skills and a global mindset – helping graduates adapt effectively to international working environments.
Ms. Le Ngoc My Tien, CEO & Cofounder of BlockchainWork, shared at the signing ceremony:
“We are honored to partner with Greenwich Vietnam—one of the most dynamic and high-quality international training institutions in the country. This collaboration not only provides students with direct access to real-world career opportunities, but also helps prepare the strategic talent pipeline for the future of blockchain.”
According to the Vietnam Blockchain Job Report 2024 by BlockchainWork, 71.8% of blockchain-related roles in Vietnam are non-technical (e.g., marketing, sales, finance). This creates a unique opportunity for students from business, social sciences, and finance backgrounds to enter this high-potential field.
However, the talent gap remains a key challenge, with high competition and a clear divide between academic training and real-world needs. Partnerships like this – between educational institutions and industry leaders – play a vital role in shaping a sustainable and future-ready blockchain workforce for Vietnam and beyond.
