Thai VietJet Airlines open a new direct flight route between Chiang Mai International Airport and Kansai International Airport starting 16th February 2023.
Operated by Airbus A321 aircraft with a frequency of 3 flights per week.

VZ822 – CNX > KIX – Departure from Chiang Mai Airport at 23.00 and arrive in Osaka at 06.00. (Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday / Sunday*)
VZ823 – KIX > CNX – Departure from Osaka at 08.30 and arrive in Chiang Mai Airport at 16.05 (Wed / Fri / Sun / Mon*)
*There will be a 4th additional flight on every Sundays starting from 2nd April. As same as Mondays flight for departures from Osaka.

Currently, Thai Vietjet offers direct flights between Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Fukuoka of Japan 1 flight per day. Departing from Suvarnabhumi Airport at 01.45 and arriving in Fukuoka at 08.55. And returning at 10.00 from Fukuoka Airport and arriving in Thailand at 14.10
