Since VISA exemption for Thai Nationals started in July 2013, the popularity of Japanese tourism among Thai people has increased widely. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ZIPAIR was launched in 2018 as Japan Airlines\u2019 subsidiary. The main purpose from JAL is to defend against low-cost carriers in market such as AirAsia X and Scoot. It was estimated that ZIPAIR would commence operation in time for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But in 2020, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted ZIPAIR\u2019s plans for launch its operations. Official flight in Thailand has been postponed from April 9 to June 3 in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ZIPAIR currently operates in 6 destinations. Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, United States\uff08Daniel K. Inoue International Airport in Honolulu and Los Angeles International Airport\uff09and Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In-flights services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Although ZIPAIR doesn\u2019t have any monitor for in-flight entertainment system attachment for every seat including Economy and Business class. But the airline offers free Wi-Fi access for everyone. Boarding passengers can surf sites in their smartphones, access to social media or watch the on-board blockbusters for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, every economy seat has an adjustable headrest which is quite rare in term of low-cost carrier service. Including power plug and USB socket provided for every seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another highlight from ZIPAIR is the flat bed seats, which competitive other airlines business class. Full-Flat seat can recline 180 degrees.<\/p>\n
